- Description
- Aims: This paper details an in-depth exploration of the lived experience of parenting a premature infant in rural and remote Australia. This research aims to facilitate understanding of the everyday experiences of these families. To address this aim a model will be described called the Practice of Parenting K.I.D.S. Model which depicts the Key Interactions of Distance and Space. The model invites reflection on, and understanding of, the experience of rural parents who have premature infants.
